Alderson's debut album is called 'Erinyes'. It is personal, subtle and minimalist. The most personal, in fact, Nel ever wrote. The album will be released in the autumn of 2023. “I turned a negative energy bomb into pure emotion, which was also the motivation to make this record,” she explains. The album contains musical self-portraits that alternate with three outbursts of anger, inspired by three Greek furies or Erinyes. Alecto, the implacable, Megaera, the disapproving, and Tisiphone, the punishing. The Erinyes are mythological figures. They are goddesses of vengeance, who pursued and tormented those who had done wrong. The Erinyes lived in the underworld and came to earth when a criminal had to be punished with their vengeance. “There are many references in the album. If you listen closely, you will hear Alice's adventures in Wonderland as well as mythology.”

Nel Ponsaers is making waves as singer-songwriter Alderson. Her dreamy alternative/indie songs are enhanced by lush dark colors provided by Frederic Lyenn Jacques - Dans Dans, Lyenn, Mark Lanegan, Crime and the City Solution - and drummer Frederik Meulyzer - Post uit Hessdalen, Stray Dogs, Slumberland. Alderson takes you on a sonic trip through different interior landscapes, sometimes whimsical, often bittersweet, but always adventurous.
Nel Ponsaers lives and works in Antwerp, where she has been working hard on her musical career for two decades. She writes music and sings in The Golden Glows and is a keyboard player and singer in Stef Kamil Carlens' band.

Musical minimalism emphasizes the feeling of emptiness. Desolate, but also warm when Alderson is surrounded by good friends. Her choice to collaborate with Frederic Lyenn Jacques, Frederik Meulyzer and Christine Verschorren as sound designer and producer was an obvious one. They are like-minded souls.
